Advice by Barbara R. Galloway, Columnist

All work and no fun make for an unhealthy lifestyle. Being able to take some rest and relaxation (R&R) is an important aspect of a fit lifestyle that should not be ignored. But with all the competing demands on your money, how can you afford to take a vacation? Read this month’s column to learn one thing you can do.

The fact that you’re reading this magazine tells me that fitness is important to you.  You’re ready to get your body moving, to shed some pounds, or maybe even to tone and build those muscles.  All that sounds great, but once you get the body looking right, you’ll want to show it off.  Are you financially able to take a beach vacation or a mountain ski trip? Ooh, I can see you now looking all cute in that snow bunny ski suit! But if you answered “no” then keep reading for a quick hack that will build your vacation financial muscles.  Afterall, you don’t want to be looking all good with nowhere to go and no way to get there.
